Niniku Gyoza (Day 5)

...garlic: world healer?

The quest for niniku gyoza was ON. There's a show on TV here in Japan (and on our local Channel 26) called "Dotch(i) No Cooking". They essentiall take two different dishes and explore how they're made and give plenty of examples of restaurants that serve those foods.

One recent show featured gyoza...more specifically, niniku gyoza (roasted garlic stuffed into gyoza). And we acquired and found Manshuri Saikan and ate the gyoza that were featured on Dotchi No Cooking. To say they were good would be a bit of an understatement...
