December barbecue

Burp...

Nothing like freezing one's ass off at 6:10 am getting the smoker fired up for a 12 hour run of smoking giant cuts of meat. OK, so it wasn't the bacchanal of this past spring but as about half the size. We covered the bases though: brisket, ribs (pork and beef), pork butt, chicken, beans. Made a boss-keen-neat batch of chocolate-cornbread bread pudding which was amazing. More amazing was that there were leftovers of this dessert treat.

Les will be sent off to his parental units tomorrow morning smelling like he spent ten hours in the pit. Ah, success...
